Suzanne began practicing yoga in 2004 to help counteract the physical wear and tear she experienced as a massage therapist and as a competitive college runner. A licensed massage therapist since 1992, Suzanne was inspired to become a yoga instructor for two reasons: she experienced significant benefits from her own regular yoga practice, and she wanted to share yoga with her massage Tampa clients in the hopes that they would embrace the healing qualities of yoga and feel empowered to take a more active role in their physical well-being.

A graduate of Cleveland 200 hour instructor certification training, Suzanne has also studied extensively with her Bikram mentor, Thom Taylor and shares this style of teaching in her current classes

Students are often treated as Suzanne brings her massage background in her classes through hands on assists (maybe even a little massage during savasana) and with a focus on physicality. Her teaching style is heartfelt, playful, challenging, and joyful. Suzanne has a BA in Psychology from Kenyon College in Ohio.

Suzanne’s “Hot 26 & 2” class can be found every Saturday from 7-8:30 a.m.
