The 30-day yoga challenge at Kodawari Studios begins October 1st!! To some this seems like exactly the right kind of challenge, to others it may seem daunting.
A few things to note on this personal undertaking. First, there are a plethora of classes to choose from. You don’t have to go balls to the wall (did I just say balls in a blog?) in every class. There is yoga 101, Lay Low and Glow, Warm 26&2, Soften, Stretch, & Strengthen, Yoga Sculpt, Slow Flow, Breathing Meditation, Hatha Stretch; well you get the point. That’s just some of them and classes are offered 7 days a week typically beginning most days at 6 a.m. and ending around 8 p.m. That’s a LOT to choose from so you can’t talk yourself out of it. You can try every class in the studio or stick to your favorites.
Second, this is a very personal undertaking. If you’ve never practiced yoga every day, you will find your mind and body venturing to places it hasn’t before. In the motherland of India, they maintain a daily practice. Think of it as waking up and having breakfast; you wouldn’t be able to live without it right? Once you get in you may discover the repercussions are profound. Unexplainable shifts, thoughts, and feelings occur without prompting. It is designed to unlock the hidden potential in your body and mind. The one that isn’t often accessed through the conscious mind.
If you want to become more flexible, have increased energy, and a calm mind dive into it. This is the beginning to deepening your yoga and your journey. Discover the magic of yoga like you’ve never felt before and let your prana flow. We look forward to seeing you on the mat, a lot.
