INVEST IN MASTERY

Watering Seeds of Transformation is the advanced portion of our yoga teacher training program, Foundations for the Mindful Teacher. It is specifically designed to accelerate your evolution as a teacher and person. We’ve created the context for you to continue to deepen your personal practices while increasing your capacity to skillfully guide a student into the mystery, wonder and beauty of the sacred technology of yoga. Receive the guidance, tools and information that empowers you to become a master teacher in your own right. This is a transformational process geared toward adult learners where the outcome is the rich, uniquely dynamic expression and manifestation of yourself.

TRAINING MODULES

We see the psychology of the mature human being as an unfolding, emergent, oscillating, spiraling process. So we’ve purposefully designed our program with 3 retreats alongside monthly meetings. The retreats are timed to allow for you to take deep dives into learning, sharing and to become steeped in stillness. Our monthly meetings – one Wednesday evening and then again that same Saturday – maintain the threads of learning and allow us to layer in and loop back to material over time. Our learning methodology allows us to unite feelings with knowledge with the result that concepts become active,”embodied” elements in your life. Organically this translates into empowering you to deepen the development of your own potential while enhancing your teaching. The application of the sacred technology of yoga to that process helps us to progressively replace older, less responsive or antiquated behaviors with awareness based, higher-order systems of care, compassion and love.

EXPERIENCED INSTRUCTORS

Watering Seeds of Transformation is taught by experienced and talented instructors who offer a breadth and depth of teaching that would be impossible to replicate elsewhere. You will be given detailed and specific guidance on how to build on your existing skills while expanding your knowledge and prowess with topics such as yoga philosophy, sequencing, voice modulation, contemplative practices, anatomy and biomechanics, yoga psychology as well as how to authentically brand and market yourself as a teacher.

The overarching theme of the training is the interdependent focus on mindfulness, deep listening and radical respect for oneself and others. Each module illustrates the progression toward deeper truths of how an integrated, alignment-based practice promotes a safe, healing, life-affirming style of yoga. This becomes a continuous process of creative renewal and growth informed by a deep knowledge of yoga philosophy and its integrated practices.

Dr.Moses Bernard

Dr. Bernard holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Saskatchewan, in Saskatoon, Canada where he graduated with great distinction. He also holds a cum laude Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX.

He has since expanded his education to include numerous post-graduate certifications in neuromuscular rehabilitation & sports performance enhancement. His post-graduate studies have ranged in fields as diverse as yoga therapy, infant neuro-motor development and Olympic weightlifting. Dr. Bernard has taught seminars throughout the United States, has had multiple articles published in peer-reviewed academic journals, and has presented findings from clinical studies at international research conventions.

In addition, Dr. Bernard recently served as the Postural Specialist & High Performance Liaison for Major league baseball’s Toronto Blue Jays. In this position, Dr. Bernard was the only Chiropractic Physician to travel with a professional baseball franchise in 2016.

Dr. Bernard is the only Kinstretch certified chiropractor in the entire Southeastern US, and among just a small handful of manual therapists with this certification worldwide. Kinstretch is based in scientifically proven principles that are applied in a group training class setting to create improved joint health, body control, injury prevention, physical longevity, and greater movement capacity. Unlike other systems, it was specifically created by medical and physical conditioning professionals to result in improved flexibility, strength, body control, and better quality of life.

Kinstretch practice also involves a self-assessment system allowing you the ability to monitor your own body for dysfunction that may be causing pain, loss of performance, or that may be putting you at an increased chance of injury. In addition to use with everyday people, it has also been used by professional coaches and athletes from around the world including the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL.

His approach focuses on identifying, evaluating and correcting movement imbalances to eliminate pain, and prevent joint degeneration. Dr. Bernard’s approach covers the spectrum from rehab to performance, and works regardless of whether you are injured, healthy, new to activity, or a world-class athlete.

Suzanne Aronoff

Suzanne Aronoff began her yoga practice in 2004 to help counteract the physical wear and tear she experienced as a massage therapist and as a competitive runner in college. She was inspired to become an instructor for two reasons: the significant benefits from her own practice and to share yoga with her massage clients in hopes they would embrace the healing qualities of yoga and feel empowered to take a more active role in their physical well-being.

E-RYT 200. Suzanne has been a licensed massage therapist since 1992 and is a 2012 graduate of Cleveland Yoga’s 200hr Teacher Training.

Suzanne’s teaching focuses on safe alignment and finding the creative joy in connecting to the student through yoga. Her ability to intelligently convey how anatomy and alignment translates into embodying the poses and breathing significantly levels up your teaching and practice of the sacred technology of yoga. Her public classes are heartfelt, playful, challenging and supportive. She brings her massage background into her classes through hands on assists (maybe even a little massage during savasana) with a clear focus on alignment and physicality.

Susie Rokosch

Susie’s background is rooted in clinical social work. She graduated with her master’s in social work from Winthrop University in 2010 and is currently licensed in the state of Florida. Susie has over ten years of experience working with individuals living with chronic mental health conditions, substance abuse, and other types of trauma.

Throughout much of her social work career, Susie struggled with long-term pain and health complications from a car accident in her teenage years that resulted in spinal fusion. After discovering the ways in which yoga was transforming her own life – physically, mentally, and spiritually – Susie decided to shift gears in the way she was serving others by merging her career as a social worker with her love and passion for yoga.

Susie is an E-RYT 200 and is currently enrolled in an RYT 300 program which completes in December of 2020. She has roots in Baptiste methodology, as well as in trauma-informed yoga. She has received over 100 hours of training through both Yoga 4 Change and Mindbody Solutions specific to teaching trauma-informed and adaptive yoga. Susie has experience teaching students (adolescents and adults) in substance abuse and behavioral health treatment facilities, correctional institutions, crisis centers, schools and after school programs, emergency housing shelters, and in organizations that serve the veteran community.

“Annette’s approach is the perfect combination of heartfelt and savvy. If you are ready to activate your soul purpose, I recommend with all my heart saying ‘Yes’ to this training!”
